Cold rolling & drawing

Cold rolling
Rolling is defined as a forming-technology for "endless" materials using rotating cylindric tools called rolls. The energy required for the forming process can either be provided by pulling the material through the rolling machine or by motorizing the rolls.

Drawing is a metalworking process used to reduce the diameter of a wire by pulling the wire through a single, or series of, drawing die(s). There are many applications for wire drawing, including electrical wiring, cables, tension-loaded structural components, springs, paper clips, spokes for wheels.
